Installing the AI tracker

Align the magnetic contact points on the bottom of the tracker with the corresponding contact points on the iSteady MT2.

Enable the AI Tracker

Slide the switch on the side of AI tracker to the "ON". The indicator light turns red and the fill light flashes twice, indicating that the tracking device is successfully activated.

Gesture Control

• Start Tracking

Position your face and hand in front of the AI tracker simultaneously. Perform the "OK" hand gesture to activate AI tracker, now the indicator light turns green.

Tips：

The tracking distance is within 5 meters.

• Stop Tracking

Perform the "palm" hand gesture to stop AI tracking, now the indicator light turns red.

Tips：

The tracking distance is within 5 meters.

• Camera Shutter Control

Tips：

Please ensure iSteady MT2 is already connected with your camera/mobile phone.

Position your face and hand in front of the AI tracker simultaneously. Perform the this hand gesture to the AI tracker. It will automatically take a phone after 3s.

• Mobile Phone/Action Camera Shutter Control

Position your face and hand in front of the AI tracker simultaneously. Perform the this hand gesture to the AI tracker. It will automatically take a phone after 3s.

• Mobile Phone/Action Camera Video Shutter Control

Position your face and hand in front of the AI tracker simultaneously. Perform the this hand gesture to the AI tracker. It will automatically take a phone after 3s.

Customized Composition

Tips：

If the framed subject cannot be centered on the phone/camera screen, or you want to customize the AI vision position to be tracked:

• Enable Customized Composition

Tips：

Whether the AI tracker is deactivated or activated, you can adjust the framing and composition according to your preferences.

Take the gesture towards the AI vision sensor, the flashing green light indicates that the AI tracker is in custom framing mode.

• Confirm Customized Composition

Move to the center positon in the frame, take the gesture toward the AI vision sensor again.The indicator will stop blinking, it indicates that the customized composition is successfully set.

Tips：

After that, the camera will track the human subject within the frame based on the selected framing.

Handle Controls for Customized Framing

When repeatedly tracking the same target individual, you can utilize iSteady MT2 handle for controlling quick reconfigurations of AI-customized framing.

Tips：

Ensure that both iSteady MT2 and AI tracker are activated.

• Confirming Target Tracking

Confirm the tracking subject by the "OK" gesture from the subject being filmed to ensure tracking has been established.

• Determining Customized Framing

Press the 'M' key twice to pause AI tracking and determine framing.

At this point:

The OLED screen's AI icon will flash slowly.

The AI indicator light will flash green slowly.

• Finalizing Customized Framing

After confirming the framing, press the 'M' key twice again to resume AI tracking.

At this point:

The OLED screen's AI icon will stop flashing.

The AI indicator light will remain green steadily, indicating that the customized framing has been completed.

Tips：

At this stage, it will frame and track based on the most recent position.

Notes for AI Tracking

Avoid getting too close to the AI camera lens while making hand gestures.

The optimal distance is between 1.6in-4.9in(0.5-1.5m),Please ensure that the environment has sufficient lighting and perform the gestures accurately.
