1. Ensure that the gimbal is powered on.
2. Activate the Bluetooth on your phone, select the device named "SV3-XXXXXX" from the list of available devices.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to connect and pair.
4. The Bluetooth indicator turns blue, indicating a successful connection.
If the connection fails, please try the following three steps:
5. Unpair or forget the connected device in your phone settings.
6. Clear the Bluetooth connection on the iSteady V3 by pressing the side wheel seven times.
7. You should now be able to find and pair with the gimbal's Bluetooth.
The gimbal defaults to portrait mode for your smartphone. If you usually use the landscape mode, you can set the startup shooting orientation in Hohem Joy App as follows:
1. Ensure that the Bluetooth is connected.
2. Enter Hohem Joy App, open the camera and click "Settings".
3. Click "Gimbal Parameter Settings".
4. Click "Startup Shooting Orientation" to set the mode. The gimbal will default to the selected orientation on the next startup.

3. Your face and hands should be visible under ambient light, and not move out of the frame. When you make gestures to the AI tracker, make sure that your gesture is correctly used and easily recognized.
4. Be within the effective distance with the AI tracker, which is 0.5m to 3.5m (1.64ft to 11.48ft) for gesture recognition, and 0.5m to 5m (1.64ft to 16.40ft) for subject tracking.

2. Keep a distance of 0.5m to 3.5m (1.64ft to 11.48ft) with the AI tracker, and make this gesture. The indicator of the AI tracker will flash quickly in green to indicate that it's ready for customized composition.
3. Move to the center position and make this gesture again. The indicator will turn solid to indicate that this process is completed.
1. Press the safety locks on both sides of the phone clamp to unlock and remove the AI tracker.
*If you remove the AI tracker without unlocking it, it will cause structural damage to the product.
2. Rotate it 180° and attach it back to the phone clamp.
Use the side wheel to control the fill light as follows:
A. Long press: turn on/off the fill light.
B. Double press: switch color temperature between cold light, neutral light and warm light.
C. Scroll up/down: increase/decrease brightness.
iSteady V3 is equipped with 1400mAh battery, which can last for 13 hours when the gimbal is placed aside in well-balanced state, and 4 fours when the AI tracker and fill light are used simultaneously.

Please observe whether the phone clamp is horizontal or not, if not you can press the M button five times to start auto calibration; if the phone clamp is horizontal, you need to remove the phone case or re-attach your phone.
A. Remote on handle: The remote will be powered on and paired automatically once the gimbal is turned on.
B. Remote detached: The remote needs to be powered on separately by long pressing the shutter button, and it will automatically pair with the gimbal upon powering on.
If you clear the remote connection during use, simply place it back on the handle, and it will automatically reconnect to the gimbal.
Method 1: Attach it to the handle, so that the gimbal can automatically charge the remote.
Method 2: Use a USB-C cable to charge the remote through its Type-C charging port.
Please check if there is any foreign matter on the pogo pins. You can use a dry cloth to wipe them clean before reattaching the AI tracker or remote control.
